Education: Pacific Palisades residents are zoned to the Los Angeles Unified School District. Local schools include Pacific Palisades Elementary School, Palisades Charter Elementary School, Canyon Elementary School, Marquez Charter School, Paul Revere Middle School, and Palisades Charter High School. Transportation: Pacific Palisades is most easily accessed by Pacific Coast Highway but can also be reached by the 405 Freeway. It is served by several bus routes including Big Blue Bus Route 9.
Local Attractions: Located high in the hills, the Getty Villa is an ideal place to wile away an afternoon while viewing an unparalleled collection of classical art. Eames House, the home of Charles and Ray Eames, is open for exterior tours. The Self Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine includes meditation gardens and a temple which offers guided tours.
